Main Street Busker Fest: Abington, VA

Enjoy the weird & wonderful acts on Main Street in Abingdon from Wall Street to Court Street. We’ve lined up acts from all over the region & country to thrill your senses. From fire-eaters to magicians, contortionists, mimes, jugglers, one-man bands and everything in between, there won’t be a corner of the Main Street that will disappoint. The festival is FREE! Floyd Yoga Jam “Illumination”: Floyd, VA

Welcome to the coolest 4Day yoga & music festival on the East Coast! 4 Days of Movement, Music, Magic & Mountains on 400 acres in Floyd County, VA.

The Floyd YOga Jam7 is a locally homegrown, grassroots, organic, green event with over 35 bands, 80+ yoga classes, kid classes, art classes, and so much more!!!!

Imagine… your eyes open effortlessly to the tune of the frolicking blue ridge mountain stream. You climb out of your abode in the neighborhood, inhale the mist and the distant aroma of incense. You stretch, wander over the bridge to the dawn flower essence workshop or go sit in the meditation meadow for a few moments. When you hear the gong, wander to your first yoga class of the day, meditation class, Speak Easy Tea Shanti or Red Rooster Coffee and a gigantic sourdough orange pecan cinnamon roll. Visit the Healing Oasis for some fabulous body work and end the night with a gong meditation or dance your hearts open to some awesome diverse music from the Main Stage.

During the day choose from workshops/5k/yoga/meditation/art/ guided nature walks or stillness under the shade of the trees along the creek. The evenings are filled with dancing music/ stage bands/chanting and the sweet sound of natures night music.

Lazy Daze Arts & Crats Festival : Cary, NC

You’re never too far from live entertainment and music at Lazy Daze! The festival will feature four stages with an eclectic mix of live entertainment, including jazz, bluegrass, reggae, rock, funk and more. In addition, we’ll have a number of roving entertainers throughout the festival.

South Carolina Jazz Festival: Cheraw, SC

Check out jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie’s historic hometown of Cheraw at the South Carolina Jazz Festival October 19-21, 2017!

Over 20 regional musical artists from the Carolinas will perform in an eclectic collection of venues. Add a Bebop Parade, Early Jazz and Late Night Jazz Restaurant Venues, the Dizzy Gillespie Scholarship Golf Tournament, a Birthday Party for Dizzy, kids’ art activities, Madonnari-Southern Style Chalk Competition, a Jazz Mass, a 5K run/walk and much more while you experience the joy of jazz from your head down to your toes! Cirque Du Floyd: Floyd, VA

This August, local and regional performance artists will converge at Chantilly Farm for the second annual Cirque du Floyd. Two days of excitment and intrigue in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains!

From New York to North Carolina, Cirque du Floyd showcases some of the best names in regional circus arts through performances and workshops.

The circus is for everyone, and we invite you to explore with all of your senses what you really love about this unique art form! Circus arts are making a comeback around the world, as modern cirque elements marry with more traditional circus arts.

We’re embracing the old with the new at Cirque du Floyd, celebrating and sharing the history and tradition of the old circus, while exposing you to the dazzling and marvelous realms of the new.

Last year featured a wide variety of unique performance artists from around the region that included magicians, jugglers, clowns, contortionists, acrobats, fire dancers, hoopers, living statues, interactive aerial storytelling acts, local musicians and more. Our 2018 production will be even more exciting and your ticket includes all Friday night programming as well!

You won’t want to miss this chance to experience and interact with all things circus at Cirque du Floyd 2018!

Crafts, local food, beer and wine lounge, sideshow stage and roaming performances will be back, along with more outdoor fun and expanded workshops.

Parking: A small fee will be charged for event parking and proceeds will benefit local civic groups. 

Rain or shine. No pets unless leashed at your campsite. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating during the main stage performances. No outside alcohol will be permitted in the main event area.
