Calling All Misfits!! Have you ever felt left out, rejected, or not good enough? Of course you have! It’s called being human. We all struggle with these issues and each of us is desperate for an answer We invite women of all ages to join us at our 5th annual ROAR Women’s Conference and find out what it means to be the “messiah’s misfit.” You were created to be exactly who you are, and we want you to stand tall in Christ and say “This is Me” with no apologies!

This year’s conference will feature a concert from Jasmine Murray on Friday night, as well as performaces from Imagine Circus throughout the conference. There will also be vendors and an after party on Friday night, as well as lots of other surprises on Saturday. ROAR 2018 will be the best one yet by far, and we can’t wait to see you there!

People in recovery from alcohol and other drug problems, their families, friends and allies will gather from across The Tarheel State on Saturday, October 7th, for the inaugural NC Recovery Fest.

Recovery Communities of North Carolina (RCNC) has organized The Capital Area Rally for Recovery for five years to celebrate National Recovery Month. The Rally raises the profile of recovery by demonstrating to our friends and neighbors, communities, policy makers and the media that we can and do recovery from alcohol and other drug problems and that when we get well, it benefits our families, communities and nation.

K-Fest Knightdale Arts & Education Festival: Knightdale, NC

This year, K-Fest will focus on the elements of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). Vendors will provide interactive activities for participants to have an enriched festival experience. S.T.E.A.M. is a “movement championed by Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and widely adopted by institutions, corporations and individuals.”

Come groove with Imagine Circus at our hoop jam or high five a roving stilt walker!

Understanding that education is the pathway to success, the mission of the Knightdale Education Festival is to connect community members with local non-profits, educational, wellness and cultural arts opportunities they may not otherwise be exposed to. This collaborative effort of community partners plays an important role in strengthening the educational component in Knightdale and Eastern Wake County.

The Hopscotch Art Show will feature the work of eight poster artists and eight photographers showing works from the past 8 years of the festival backdating to the first ever Hopscotch in 2010.

Appalachian State University Homecoming Parade & Street Festival: Boone, NC

The 2017 Appalachian State University Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, October 6th, at 6:00 p.m. The parade will travel through the campus of Appalachian State and along King Street in downtown Boone. Visitors to downtown will be able to park in any of the Town of Boone public parking lots, or on King Street. AFTER 5:00 p.m., guests may also park in the Human Services Center parking lot, which is just a short walk to the parade route, and downtown amenities. For optimal parking and parade viewing sights, please arrive in downtown no later than 5:15 p.m. Streets will close just prior to the parade step off at 6:00 p.m., all traffic lanes through downtown will remain open until that time.

Following the parade, a new Homecoming tradition is born! Head over to Howard Street in Downtown Boone to relax in our Alumni Beer Garden as you enjoy catching up with old friends and making new ones. Catch Imagine Circus pop up LED performances along Howard Steet!

Come out to support Imagine Circus while enjoying tasty cocktails and a tantalizing show! We are shooting a promo video at C. Grace and need lots of well dressed audience members to cheer us on. Please invite all of your fancy friends!

This show will feature some of our sexiest circus acts, including Belly Dancers, Snake Charmers, Burlesque Performers, Pole Dancers, Live Body Painting, Live Shibari Art, and more! Freeboot Friday: Greenville, NC

This free, alive-at-five event offers live music and fun for the whole family with an inflatable Pirate Ship for children, arts and crafts, live music, Uptown restaurant food, and adult beverages for those 21 and older. Head to Five Points Plaza (5th and Evans) in the Uptown district for Freeboot Friday held from 5-8pm on ECU Home Football Fridays.
