Hosted and performed by Adam, a local NC Juggler! Juggling has been developed and explored across the entire world. France has been a center for the growth of circus and juggling arts for a long time. A few years ago, Adam, traveled to Toulouse France for the European Juggling Convention. The largest juggling festival in the world! While in France, he learned new skills and fun facts about present day and historic French Circus. He will be sharing parts of this adventure and show some amazing skills while we learn.
With a solid foundation in entertainment and a deep commitment to the well being and growth of children, singer songwriter and humorist, Mister John Saylor, became “Mister John” in 2005 and began a career in early childhood music education. A decade of experience engaging the youngest of the young on a weekly basis has enhanced his ability to connect with any audience, inspiring even the most reticent to sing, dance, and play along.
Rhythm and song are at the foundation of the art and skill of reading the written word. Join Mister John for a journey through letters, words, syllables, complete sentences and entire stories as we go from there to here and then some, through the magic of shared music. Mister John promises to entertain the children as well as their aged chauffeurs, bodyguards and caretakers. This will be fun for everybody!
Reading can take you anywhere in the world–all you need to pack is your imagination! Join Imagine Circus’s dynamic acro duo, Katie and Kaci, for a magical island adventure! This two woman show offers breathtaking partner acrobatics to traditional Tahitian music and impressive juggling of tropical fruits, along with positive messaging and inspiring interactive elements that explore the rich cultures of the South Pacific, including the exciting story of Moana! Audience members are invited to participate in a light hearted group stretch and an exciting hula hoop contest, sprinkled with fun and informative facts about the Polynesian islands, including Hawaii, New Zealand, and Easter Island. This show will inspire you to move, play, eat healthy, be creative, and maybe even travel to a new destination and experience a new culture! Stick around for a surprise special guest appearance following the show.

Registration: No paper tickets will be issued, however everyone’s name and or company will be at registration. It is important to check in at the registration desk to receive your bid cards, complimentary drink tickets, valet vouchers and program at registration.
Parking: Complimentary valet parking will be available for all guests. Make sure to grab a voucher at registration to use at the end of the evening. There is also plenty of surface and deck parking in the area.
Attire: The attire is black tie optional. Creative attire is appreciated!

Drink Tickets: Wine, beer and spirits will be available throughout the evening. Two complimentary drink tickets will be give to each attendee and additional drink tickets and tickets for mixed drinks may be purchased at the event.
The annual Knightdale Christmas Parade brings over a thousand people to view as local schools, non-profits, and businesses parade their floats, bands, and other decorated pieces down 1st Avenue!
This holiday season City Center at Oyster Point will transform into the North Pole with a new, state-of-the-art, synchronized music and light show for the BayPort Credit Union 25 Nights of Northern Lights. On each of the 25 nights, December 1-25, visitors can enjoy a five minute, theatrical Holiday Magic Light Show, happening at the top of each hour from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This show includes the Larry King Law Holiday Show Tree, a 42’ intelligent, color/pattern changing tree unlike anything seen before in the Hampton Roads area, along with a synchronized show where lights dance around the fountain to a festive soundtrack. City Center restaurant patios will become “Jingle and Mingle” lounges with food and beverage specials, and windows throughout the venue will be filled with special holiday displays.
“BayPort is an outstanding corporate citizen, and I am delighted that they are the presenting sponsor of our new holiday event at City Center,” said City Manager Cindy Rohlf. “The BayPort Credit Union 25 Nights of Northern Lights spreads the excitement of the season throughout the month and allows more of our citizens and guests to experience the sights and sounds of the holidays.”
The city will host three themed North Pole Nights on December 1, 8 and 15 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with entertainment, free activities and food vendors. Each of the North Pole Nights will feature Santa’s Workshop, sponsored by City Center at Oyster Point, where children can meet Mr. & Mrs. Claus and see elves at work. North Pole Nights also offer guests the opportunity to take a short trolley ride to the new Holiday Inn for photo ops in the lobby with a beautifully decorated sleigh and special gifts for kids and adults – a stuffed animal for children 5 and younger, and sweet treats for older guests.
With the theme Journey to the North Pole, Saturday, December 1 will include an official BayPort Credit Union 25 Nights of Northern Lights kick-off with city dignitaries. Saturday, December 8, is themed Holiday Candy Land and Saturday, December 15 is themed Snow Pets. Various activities will take place that correspond to each week’s theme along with entertainment on three stages, strolling performers and holiday characters, children’s make-and-take holiday crafts, carnival games, and food vendors ($).
Admission each night is free and free parking is available in the three City Center parking garages!
The festival of lights has been a holiday tradition for over 25 years. This year the festival will include all of the holiday favorites including the community sing, lighting of the community tree in Center City Park, and of course carolers and acoustic performances along Elm Street. You can find Santa in Hamburger Square and roast marshmallows too! Warm your hands at the warming stations and get your group holiday photo in the social photo booth! You’ll find plenty of delicious treats throughout downtown and don’t forget – finalize your shopping at on of the many downtown merchants who will be open late for Festival of Lights!
