Knightdale’s annual Tree Lighting includes letters to Santa, visiting with Mrs. Claus and the head elves, activities, food vendors, music, performances and a visit from Santa! Be sure to mark your calendar for this annual event. The tree is lit at the conclusion of the event.

The Veranda features a dozen locally owned and operated restaurant and service tenants. We welcome you to bring little ones in costumes and walk each of the stores for goodies.
Following your walk please stay and dine at one of our four full service restaurants – Capp’s Pizzeria with artisan wood-fired pizza, Breakaway Cafe, Alberello Cafe & Market, and Town Hall Burger and Beer. Imagine Circus will have 3 hours of entertainment starting at 5pm; It will be an enjoyable evening for all ages!! Raleigh Arts is pleased to welcome Austrian artist collective OMAi for a series interactive animation projections on notable buildings throughout Raleigh. OMAi Mapping Stories will include 4 session locations: Saint Agnes Sessions, Dorothea Dix Park Session, Downtown Raleigh Session and Medal of Arts Session. Each session will be complemented by artist workshops, community sessions and student programming in collaboration with local artists, musicians and performers.
The Dorothea Dix Park Session will be held at the Silos at Dorothea Dix Park on November 9 from 6-9pm. This session will feature music, performers and food trucks. Catch an Imagine Circus LED Performance roving from 7 PM to 8 PM!
Calling all pirates, princesses, and children of all ages! Every Halloween, the Town of Boone hosts this popular, family event in downtown Boone for kids of all ages. Starting at 3:15pm, there will be a magic show, arts and crafts, and apple tastings at the Watauga County Library, a silly and spooky tour of the Jones House will begin at 4pm, and trick-or-treating with downtown merchants from 5 to 6pm. Be sure to visit for this Halloween for an afternoon filled with fun in downtown Boone.

The ICA’s largest fundraiser of the year, UNTAMED will attract prominent community members, supporters, and art lovers from around the region and is timed to coincide with the opening of two new exhibitions, Hedges, Edges, Dirt, and Provocations: Rashid Johnson. The wild and organic nature of these two exhibitions will inspire a magical evening filled with enchanting cuisine, décor, and entertainment.
Proceeds support the ICA’s mission to present the art of our time, offer free admission and programming, and provide an open forum for dialogue and collaboration across the region and throughout the world.
