Celebrate Cinco de Mayo & the Kentucky Derby Midtown Music Fest style! This 4th annual art & music festival celebrates Spring and the return of outdoor music to North Hills!
With a diverse line-up spanning a variety of genres split between two stages, this year’s Music Fest will be bigger and better than ever. Enjoy popular food trucks, craft beer, specialty cocktails, street performers, Cinco De Mayo face painting, flower crowns and a vendor village while experiencing acts on both stages. Admission into concert is FREE to the public.

This Spring we’re throwing a gala to celebrate 25 years of Smart Start. Hosted in Raleigh at Marbles Museum it will be a night for adults to play like children, as well as honor the work of the last 25 years to build strong and vibrant children, families, and communities in North Carolina.

Katie is an acrobat, movement enthusiasts, healthy eater, and creativity cultivator! She performs partner acrobatics, aerials, and acrobatic yoga while mixing in circus flair like juggling and hula hoops.
Live & Local is a series of music and art events in the Hillsborough Street district of Raleigh, NC. Live and Local programming attracts a wide age range with an engaging Kids Zone, an Artist Village, and games for any skill level.

With a solid foundation in entertainment and a deep commitment to the well being and growth of children, singer songwriter and humorist, Mister John Saylor, became “Mister John” in 2005 and began a career in early childhood music education. A decade of experience engaging the youngest of the young on a weekly basis has enhanced his ability to connect with any audience, inspiring even the most reticent to sing, dance, and play along.
Rhythm and song are at the foundation of the art and skill of reading the written word. Join Mister John for a journey through letters, words, syllables, complete sentences and entire stories as we go from there to here and then some, through the magic of shared music. Mister John promises to entertain the children as well as their aged chauffeurs, bodyguards and caretakers. This will be fun for everybody!
The second annual Canes Bash will transform PNC Arena into a Caniac Circus, featuring spectacular acts, carnival-themed games and a chance to mix and mingle with Hurricanes players, coaches, broadcasters and front-office executives.
Under the big top, attendees can challenge Hurricanes players to casino games or try their luck at a variety of carnival-themed games. Guests will be treated to an assortment of upscale food stations and an open bar with a signature cocktail. Canes Bash also features both a silent and live auction, which will include one-of-a-kind items, such as “player baskets” filled with each player’s favorite things, and experiences, like a trip with the team.
Dazzling acts and a special food and drink menu await at Canes Bash! If you think the team has skills, wait until you see the juggling act the three-person fire show.

This year’s gala will be hosted in a 180,000+ square foot building that once housed a Kmart department store thanks to Baker Roofing.
Come play with Imagine Circus at our Flow Zone during the day with hula hoops, juggling balls, and creative movement. Catch one of our kid’s aerial and circus fundamentals workshops. Celebrate Princeton is an annual street fair on Mercer Street in downtown Princeton, West Virginia. This year’s event will feature live music and other performances, a zip line, The Meltdown, car and quilt shows, a live art mashup, dance performances, and more! Friends of the library will provide a bounce house and free popcorn for children while supplies last and MC Doc Attwell of Star 95 will host!
