Catch our Imagine Circus stilt walker roving through the event from 5:30 to 7:30! Or come earlier–the fun starts at 4 p.m. at Municipal Park (325 McCullers Drive) with free family events on the field, basketball competitions, watermelon and ice cream giveaways, a hose down by the Clayton Fire Department and a live free music concert with Big Love!  Big Love is a six-piece dance band based out of Raleigh. They play a variety of great music that gets people moving, from the classics to current hits and including jazz, disco, pop, funk, R&B, and beach.

Enjoy food vendors, a cornhole tournament, inflatables and fair rides, bingo and raffles throughout the day and night!

The fireworks shoot off at dark with increased seating area and added bleachers!

PLEASE NOTE: Views of the fireworks from locations like Town Square and Horne Square on Main Street (where you may have watched from in the past) will be obscured. So if you want to see ALL the fireworks – more shells than we’ve had in most years past – you’ve got to be at Municipal Park on July 4!!​

After the fireworks, the live music, inflatables and rides will run another half hour after the show. That way, you can have more fun instead of sitting in traffic
