Alex has been in the performing arts since she was a little girl. Starting with theater and ballet, she learned how to perform in front of a crowd and grab the audiences attention for the duration of a performance. In her early twenties, she worked in Denver, Colorado as a gogo-dancer at an electronic music venue, assisting in costuming and themes for each performance. Alex started to implement cirque arts into her performances a few years later after moving to Atlanta, GA, where she attained skills in fire poi, fire and burlesque fans, dragonstaff, and fire breathing. In addition, Alex has extensive experience with partner acrobatics and is currently dipping her toes into lyra and trapeze. Alex’s strengths lie in integrating cirque arts with theatrical story and event coordination. She has worked with several performance troupes throughout the southeast; as well as assisted in making countless gigs more fun, dynamic, and successful by creatively working with the client’s vision. Alex is new to the triangle area and hopes to involve her experience and love for circus through her performance with Imagine Circus.
