Back by popular demand! Celebrating it’s 5th year, this all-day art and music festival welcomes Spring and the return of outdoor music to North Hills. Midtown Music Fest features a mix of original music and fan favorite covers from artists both nationally and locally know, culminating with a national headliner, soon to be announced! The festival also features local craft beer & beverages, popular food trucks, hip hop dancers, flame throwers, stilt walkers, custom teepees, flower crowns, a marching band and other artful activities.
A celebration of all things good and cheerful, southern and delightful! The Cheerwine Festival brings in tens of thousands of locals and visitors from across the Carolinas converging on this small, historic city to eat good food, shop cheerwine merchandise and have fun in the downtown area.
Cheerwine is a one-of-a-kind soft drink with a unique cherry taste that has been delighting southerners for more than a century. Cheerwine was first created in 1917 in Salisbury, NC by a general store owner named LD Peeler.
You’re in for a treat! It’s Showtime at Your Library with Katie and Kaci from Imagine Circus. They’ll share what it’s like behind the scenes as a circus performer, as well as the fun, sweat, and tears that goes into creating performances. This show will inspire you to move, be creative, eat healthy, and realize that all the world’s a stage! At the end of the show, get a chance to ask Katie and Kaci questions!
Imagine Circus’s dynamic acro duo, Katie and Kaci, are movement enthusiasts, healthy eaters, creativity cultivators, self-published authors, and reading advocates! Years ago they were inspired to create every letter of the alphabet with their bodies–an amazing feat of strength, skill, and patience– and published their first book, ACRO: An Alphabet Art Book. Featuring colorful letters and high resolution images of the “acro alphabet,” their book includes an uplifting poem about hard work and cooperation.
Audience members participate in a light hearted group stretch and other fun activities. Learn about life as an acrobat, the need for healthy eating, the value of hard work and the importance of practice, practice, practice!
Let your imagination run wild as Imagine Circus takes the stage during the Independence Day Celebrations at Lake Junaluska. You’ll be wowed by aerialists in Stuart Auditorium, jugglers, stilt walkers and more! Plus, Imagine Circus will join the Independence Day Parade on July 4 and face-paint at the picnic.

The decision to inflate hot air balloons is made just prior to the scheduled ballooning activity. Due to limited entrance points into our festival, on Saturday, guests are encouraged to PARK by 1 PM to attend late afternoon launches. Saturday is our most popular festival day and the admissions booths will close when we reach maximum capacity. Tickets are non-refundable.
